Notes
To add a bit of earthy flavor to the beet juice, you can add a small piece of ginger into the mix as well. Ginger is actually great, not just because it makes beet juice good, but also packs in some powerful anti-inflammatory action.A little squeeze of lemon juice can also be a great addition to your fresh beetroot juice.I also love the idea of adding some fresh mint leaves into the mix.To add some extra nutrition to this root vegetable juice, you can also add some beet greens or other leafy greens of your choice. If you don’t have oranges or orange juice that the recipe calls for, apple juice can do the trick. In fact, green apple juice can be a great addition to this beet juice recipe. You’re likely to find some juice pulp leftover during the juicing process- even if you’re using a high speed blender or one of those fancy centrifugal juicers. I would recommend keeping it in.If you want to remove the beet pulp leftover from juicing beets, you can strain it using a fine mesh strainer or a nut milk bag.You can also try adding other vegetables of your choice into this classic beet juice recipe.
