Notes
Quick Start with Cake Mix: If you want to cut down the cooking time for this recipe, you can start off by simply using some cake mix instead of scratch-making the cupcakes. I would recommend using white cake mix, but if you really love the chocolate flavor, you can also choose to use chocolate cake mix instead.Frosting Choices: You can also choose to use your classic vanilla frosting or vanilla buttercream frosting to frost the cupcakes instead of making it from scratch.Buttery Flavor Boost: To lend some extra flavor and richness to these vanilla cupcakes, you can add some unsalted butter to the cake batter as well.Cool Before Frosting: Remember to frost cupcakes after they have reached room temperature. Once you let the cupcakes cool completely, they'll hold on to the frosting better.Baking Powder Alternative: Don't have the soda? You can use some baking powder instead to help the snowmen cupcakes rise and get fluffy.
