Air Fryer Korean Beef is a quick and flavorful dish that brings the taste of Korean BBQ to your kitchen with ease. The beef is marinated in a savory-sweet blend of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, then cooked to perfection in the air fryer. It's crispy on the edges, tender on the inside, and pairs perfectly with rice or veggies for a simple yet delicious meal!
Add the beef and the peppers to a mixing bowl and coat in the sesame oil. If you don't have sesame oil, you can use any vegetable oil instead.
Add the beef and peppers to a pan that fits your air fryer basket and cook at 400° for 15-20 minutes, tossing the beef and peppers every 5 minutes.
Remove the beef and peppers and serve with rice. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
To lend the beef a bit of tanginess, you can add a dash of rice vinegar into it.If you're adding the rice vinegar, you might also want to throw in a bit of soy sauce to balance everything out. If you're more conscious about your food, use low sodium soy sauce. If you're like me and want to bring a bit of heat, you can also add some red pepper flakes into the marinade. If you prefer that tinge of sweetness, you can add a bit of brown sugar into the marinade.Ground ginger can also be a fantastic addition to this beef mixture. It will lend the thinly sliced beef some earthy undertones that taste amazing when paired with some brown rice or sticky rice.If you can, use toasted sesame seeds instead of regular sesame seeds for the recipe. They are more crunchy and flavorful.Don't forget to top the beef with some chopped green onions and some more red pepper flakes or ground fresh ginger.
